Jennifer Graham

RMT - Owner of 2 Wellness Clinics Self Employed

Job Description

Each day for me is different, which is very suitable to my personality. I’ve never said ‘gotta go to work’ which unfortunately for many is associated with unhappiness. I’m lucky enough to say ‘I’m off to heal’ being an RMT is medical, spiritual and therapeutic. Using our trained knowledge paired with skilled techniques is an energy literally in your hands to heal, repair muscle tissue, increases circulation, treat an ongoing issue or activate the mending of a new injury. Just a few highlights to a day being an RMT. For me it’s who I am and what I was made to do.

Career Story

Coming out of high school it wasn’t clear to me then what my path would be so I decided to travel a little bit to work different jobs in the service industry, and in the beauty sector, paying attention to my strengths and weaknesses. One thing that became very clear was I was meant to help people, but also to create my own hours to allow flexibility, which was important for me that’s why I think it’s very important to take inventory of yourself at every stage every job around all different types of people and scenarios, this will allow you to see when you feel your best and when you notice your energy becomes low. My journey to where I landed I noticed I was always wanting to be the first to help somebody to massage their shoulders to put the Band-Aid on to get the ice to put on the bruise so one day I was driving and saw a sign that said, have you ever thought about becoming a registered massage therapist and that was the day that changed it all
