Career Story

After graduating high school I attended Wilfred Laurier University where I obtained an honors BA in digital media and journalism. I did a joint program with Conestoga College so also earned a Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Media Studies. In the summer of my third year I completed a communications internship with HYN, and four months after graduation (June 2021) came on board as their program coordinator. After graduation I was working 3 part time jobs, until I secured my current position in late December 2021.
