Job Description

An optometrist is like the family doctor for your eyes. We are the people who will check to ensure you are seeing well, to assess if you need glasses (or contact lenses) as well as check the health of your eyes. Sometimes your eye health can help us diagnose other conditions in your body.

Career Story

After high school, I attended undergrad university where I received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree.
I applied and was accepted to the University of Waterloo School of Optometry. I completed the 4 year Optometry degree there.
Upon graduation, I started as an associate in a multidoctor practice. After 7 years, I became a partner in the practice. 8 years later, I sold my share of the business and opened a new office where I have currently been working since.
