Career Story
After high school I started by acquiring a private pilots license. This was upgraded to a Commercial license and eventually included multi-engine and Instrument ratings. This allowed me to acquire an entrance level job. After attaining 1500 flying hours experience I was qualified to apply for and attained an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License). After 11 years in the regional airlines I was hired by Air Canada. Starting out as a junior First Officer on smaller narrow body aircraft (single aisle) I progressed to my current position as a wide body Captain flying to international destinations. To date my career has spanned 37 years.
